I am advertising this motorcycle on behalf of the owner who is selling unfortunately due to ill health

 

1969 Triumph TR6 C 650cc

​

Built 19th April 1969 Despatched to Queens park motors 24 th May 1969

 

Second owner bought the bike in 1971. He had it until around 2012.

 

Current owner carried out total rebuild

 

New wheels rims tyres and tubes

 

New fork seals, bushes and springs.

New rear shocks.

 

Reground crank  ground and supplied the shells etc) new big ends, bolts and nut's. New sludge trap. New main bearings. All supplied by Harris.

 

Bores checked and found to be good. Also AE(Original Hepolite) Pistons in good condition. New rings,circlips and gudgeon pins fitted. Supplied by Harris.

 

New oil pump and pressure relief valve fitted. Supplied by Harris. 

Four new push rods fitted and adjusters. Supplied by Harris.

 Four new 3 thou oversize valve guides, valves supplied by Harris. Fitted by Micro Engineering. Along with two new inlet valve seats. All rocker box thread in head helicoiled along with both plug holes.

 

Boyer electric ignition was fitted and worked. I fitted a new Boyer twin spark coil. I also fitted a Boyer power box. 

 

New alternator stator fitted.

 

New primary chain tensioner fitted. 

 

New chaincase cover fitted due to too much damage to repair. Harris supplied.  

 

New correct seat grab rail fitted along with new cover. That grab rail was only used for one year

 

New stainless mudguards fitted. 

 

New chain guard fitted.

 

Total repaint to tank, oil tank and side panel.

Overall a really nice Rare C model Triumph ready to go
